Wireless speakers interfere with internet connection

After facing the problem for more than two weeks of infrequent wireless internet connection problem on my laptop, I finally came to the conclusion that the problem is because of the wireless rear speakers on my HT-Z520 is causing the problem.
This is only a guess, I am not sure about the conclusion.
I think that the wireless speakers works on much different frequency. I am not having a detail knowledge about the wireless speakers but need to know or the solution for the Wireless speakers interfere with internet connection problem.

Re: Wireless speakers interfere with internet connection
Yes you are right on the node that wireless speaker are working on different frequency. But if you are using devices such as a microwave oven, wireless LAN Card, Bluetooth equipment,
or any other device that uses the same frequency (2.4GHz) near the system then you will surely face some interruption due to interference.

The only thing I can suggest is to check for the FCC ID of the Wireless Module.

Re: Wireless speakers interfere with internet connection
I think it is expected that at some point some devices in the same band interfere with each other. I read about 11 or so channels used frequently in the 2.4 GHz band, one can use only reliable up to 3 if they are 1, 6 and 11, that is to spread as much as possible to minimize duplication / bleeding and, consequently, interference. Maybe you could try to change channel on your wireless LAN adapter or wireless speaker. If anything else is not using the 2.4 GHz band, there should be no reason that your Wi-Fi and speakers could not coexist.

Re: Wireless speakers interfere with internet connection
I was planning to buy one of the Samsung’s theater systems with the wireless rear speakers but now I am really worried that I might face the same problem because of what is described in the above replies about the microwave and the related frequencies. I really like that system and eager to buy it but before I need to clear my doubts about this problem.

Re: Wireless speakers interfere with internet connection
I was also having the same problem but now discovered the solution for that, it is the wireless speaker which are the root cause of the problem. Most of the people suggested me for changing the routers broadcasting channel but that does not have any relation with the frequency of the speakers or the router.

I was facing the interference on channels 1, 6, and 11. There are some routers in the market that can use 5ghz as an option.
I have confirmed the problem by turning off the stereo and in the result, my wireless network suddenly works good.
