Problem with Samsung home theatre system?

I have recently bought a new Samsung HT-Z310T DVD player and it has stopped working from last two days. Actually when i am trying to switch it on then it shows something like PROTECT message and then it gets switched off. What kind of issue is this as i do not understand that Protect message. Does anybody has the same issue?

I guess PROTECT message appears whenever there is any kind of connections between the positive and negative terminals. I think this is not a big issue but you should disconnect all the connections then reinsert them again and check that does it showing the same message or not.

There must be something wrong with an internal software thing of your DVD player. I think you should reset the factory settings of your player. First of all turn off the power and then hold the STOP (T) button of the main unit for more then 7 seconds, which will reset the functions of your Samsung dvd player. Then try using it after connecting all the connections.

If resetting your DVD player does not works for you then there would be something wrong with the player itself or it might happen that your player would not be compatible with that of display which you are trying to use with it. I suggest you to confirm about their compatibility first then collect informations about their connections.

As you have bought this home theater system recently then i would suggest you to better deal with this problem safely. Your surround system would be still under warranty so you must contact with the dealer from where you have bought this Samsung Home theater system. If anything would be wrong with the hardware itself then you would get replaced your system. And if not then also you would have your system working at least.

I would like to ask you that are you trying to use USB driver on your home theater system and getting an error as Protect system then there might some kind of viruses presented in your USB which might be disturbing your dvd player to play the content presented in it.
