Best Air cooler for the new i7 980X

I have a Intel i7 980x processor which I had bought recently. I planned to overclock this processor. For that I want a better cpu cooler. I had looking for some models but they are very tough to fit. So for that which can be the best one. I need a cooler which can fit the processor properly and it can be enough capable to drain out heat generated while overclocking. This is will be for limited time only.

There are various coolers. I have a herMax coolers which came with Eclipse II. It measure 131 x 70 x 152 mm, and weighs 822 grams. It includes 46 strips of aluminum and five copper heat pipes of 8 mm in diameter. They are folded and are U-type Direct Touch (direct contact with the processor). The set is nickel plated with a black color. Two 120mm fans BlackStar complete the picture.

TherMax The Eclipse II is compatible with AMD platforms 939/940/AM2/AM2 + / AM3 and Intel LGA 775/1156/1366. We find in his bundle a ventilation controller in PCI format, and anti-vibration mountings. Tuniq Tower 120 CPU cooler a great round format, which has yet to crack down on some processors. Then new version of the Tower 120 is quiet nice and offers a new basis, new aluminum fins and a new 120mm fan.

Tuniq Tower 120 is pushed up in the latest cooling technologies. There are three 8mm heat pipes along with two other heat pipes of 6 mm in diameter, and all will have direct contact on the basis of the radiator. The contact area also seems very elaborate, with a good polishing, especially a good homogeneity between the heatpipes and the aluminum block which structures the whole.

I have a Tuniq Tower heatsink which weighs 775 grams with dimensions of 131 x 112 x 150 mm, a size that includes extreme position within a 120mm fan running between 1000 and 2000 rpm. The cooling fins are trimmed to increase the heat exchange to improve the maximum dissipation. The spacecraft will be compatible with Socket AM2 and AM3, AMD, and the LGA 1366 and 775 at Intel.

Frio is compatible with formats socket LGA-775, 1156, and 1366 from Intel, as well as formats AM2, AM2 + and AM3 AMD for respective prices of EUR59.90. It remains for us to discover in practice the cooling performance of the Frio without forgetting the silent. The Frio Thermaltake is the newest aircooling sink. With a more careful look, the Frio is based on a nickel coated copper and connected to the 48 aluminum fins through five 8 mm heat pipes. A 120mm fan mounted on mounting anti-vibration and whose speed can be adjusted manually (1200-2500 rpm), which is cool all still weighs 1042 grams and dimensions of 139 x 63 x 165 mm .

Look for Noctua NH-D14, a cooling system for LGA 775 processors, 1156, 1366, K8 and AM2 / 3. The radiator is composed of aluminum fins divided into two separate blocks, connected to a copper base heatpipes nickel by 6 by 6 mm in diameter. There is also a fan NF-P12 (120 mm), and a fan NH-P14 (140 mm). This cooler comes with a very impressive architecture assisted by two fans for cooling.
